“Taal is fluïde.

I am delighted with the article on the Atjar, kroepoek, pisang project that appeared in Moesson, June edition nr. 12. Thanks to writer Jan van Stipriaan Luïcius who was here on a studio visit, and thanks to editor-in-chief Ricci Scheldwacht!
This issue Taalschatten, meaning language treasures, is about language in motion, about Petjoh which is Indonesian language with an ‘Indische’ twist in contemporary Dutch language, featuring, among other things, an interview with Richard Cress. "Language is fluid. Over the centuries, the language we speak has changed, enriched, or impoverished perhaps. But in any case, our language moves with us. " Says Vivian Boon, managing editor of Moesson magazine in the foreword.

The 'Indisch maandblad Moesson' was founded in 1956 and then called Onze Brug. In 1958, Indo-activist Tjalie Robinson named the magazine Tong Tong and 20 years later his widow Lilian Ducelle renamed the magazine Moesson.
The ‘Indo International’ is an English quarterly edition of the magazine.
